Terms of Service

By accessing or using the On-Page API ("Service"), operated by On-Page ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

On-Page API provides SEO analysis tools via a REST API and MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. The Service includes page classification, entity extraction, competitive analysis, and related features accessible through API keys.

To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

Your use of the API is subject to the rate limits and usage quotas associated with your plan. You agree not to:

• Exceed your allocated rate limits or attempt to circumvent them
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Resell or redistribute API access without authorization
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the Service

The Service uses a credit-based billing system. Credits are consumed when you make API requests or run scans. Pricing, pack sizes, and the custom-amount rate are shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase.

One-time credit packs. You may purchase named credit packs or a custom dollar amount (subject to a minimum purchase). Custom-amount purchases are rounded down to the nearest whole credit at purchase time; the remainder is retained as payment.

Auto-topup. You may opt in to automatic credit purchases when your balance falls below a threshold you choose. Enrolled auto-topup charges receive a bonus of additional credits above the base pack amount (the applicable bonus percentage is shown in the Service at enrollment). You may disable auto-topup from your dashboard at any time.

Credit expiry. Credits expire twelve (12) months from the grant date unless stated otherwise. Expired credits are removed from your balance and are not refunded.

Refunds and disputes. Refunds, chargebacks, and dispute resolution are described in our Refund Policy. If you initiate a chargeback with your card issuer, we may freeze billing on your organization while the dispute is being resolved.

EU / UK digital-content delivery. By purchasing credits, you acknowledge that we begin supplying digital content immediately upon successful payment and you expressly waive your statutory right of withdrawal under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU) and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. We may change pricing, bonus percentages, and pack sizes with 30 days' notice; the new pricing applies to purchases made after the change.

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service for analysis. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process it solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for training machine learning models without your explicit consent.

The Service, including its algorithms, models, and documentation, is protected by intellectual property laws. Your use of the Service does not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond the limited license to use the Service as intended.

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned downtime.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, On-Page shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. SEO analysis results are informational and do not guarantee search engine rankings.

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections regarding liability, disclaimers, and governing law survive termination.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which On-Page operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
